Lodges

Lodges

There are currently eight lodges meeting at West Belfast Orange Hall at the heart of the Shankill Road. Built in 1898, this hall is home to No 9 Loyal Orange District, No 6 Royal Black Chapter and No 4 Women’s Orange District. It also facilitates a variety of community and social activities, including the Shankill Drumming Club.

Parades

Parades and marching bands are an integral part of the Orange Order heritage and tradition and orange halls provide a space for bands to rehearse and musical training for young musicians. The West Belfast Orange Hall works extensively with the communities of the Shankill area to offer young people access to music training and skills development.

For more information on the Orange Order see their website.
